Abstract

The present study examined the comparative role of human creativity and Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in content creation. The study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of human-generated and AI-generated content in terms of originality, authenticity, emotional depth, quality, efficiency, and audience engagement. A descriptive and comparative research design was adopted, and primary data were collected from 120 respondents through a structured questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale. Secondary data were gathered from scholarly articles, journals, books, and industry reports related to creativity and artificial intelligence. The collected data were analyzed using frequency distribution, percentage analysis, mean scores, standard deviation, and comparative analysis. The findings revealed that respondents perceived human-created content as superior in originality, emotional intelligence, authenticity, and contextual understanding. In contrast, Generative AI was found to be highly effective in improving efficiency, accelerating idea generation, and maintaining consistency in content production. The study further indicated that a collaborative approach combining human creativity and AI capabilities produced the most effective content outcomes. The research concluded that Generative AI served as a valuable creative support tool but could not fully replace the unique cognitive and emotional attributes of human creativity. Therefore, the future of content creation was found to depend on the integration of human expertise and AI-driven innovation.
