Abstract

The goal of changing India into a society that is digitally empowered and a future knowledge economy is represented by the term "Digital India." The Digital India programme is an e-revolution that aims to ensure that citizens have access to government services in an electronic format by enhancing the online infrastructure and internet connectivity that is currently available. "POWER to EMPOWER" is the motto of the Digital India programme, and it itself sheds light on the program's mission, which is to move the nation forward digitally, economically, and efficiently. Additionally, it intends to connect Grampanchayat by means of broadband internet, advance e-governance, and turn India into a knowledge-based economy that is connected. In this article, we will aim to illustrate the various cyber security challenges that the Digital India programme is now facing.

Dr. Priyadarsini Sahu, Lecturer (Burla NAC College, Sambalpur University), Former Assistant Professor (Central University of Jharkhand) & M.A/M.Phil. / PhD from School of International Studies (SIS), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU)

Dr. Priyadarsini Sahu is currently working as Lecturer in the Department of Political science, Burla NAC College, Sambalpur University, has over 7 years of teaching experience. The School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru university awarded her M.Phil and Ph. D degrees in the areas West Asian Studies. She has also presented a number of papers in various national and international conferences.
