Abstract

Israel has emerged as a friendly country for India, which has always been instrumental in finding solutions to our security challenges. Israel's role in cooperation in the Kargil war and in the fight against terrorism has been very important. Today Israel is the second largest supplier of defense equipment to India after Russia. Indian defense agencies have been using weapons systems made by Israel for a long time. From Falcon Airbnb Warning and Control System to Heran, from Archer Drones and Harop Drones to Barak Anti Missile Defense System and from Spyder Quick Reaction Anti Air Craft System to security systems like Python, Derby (air-to-air missile) It has played an important role in keeping the Indian security system in order.

भारत के लिए इजराइल एक ऐसे मित्र देश के रूप में उभरा है, जिसने हमारी सुरक्षा चुनौतियों का हल ढूंढने में हमेशा महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई है। कारगिल युद्ध में सहयोग तथा आतंकवाद के खिलाफ लड़ाई में इजरायल की भूमिका अति महत्वपूर्ण रही है। आज रूस के बाद इजरायल, भारत का दूसरा सबसे बड़ा रक्षा उपकरणों का आपूर्तिकर्ता देश है। भारतीय रक्षा एजेंसियां एक लंबे समय से इजराइल के द्वारा बनाए गए वेपन सिस्टम का उपयोग करती रही हैं। फाल्कन एयरबार्न वार्निग एंड कंट्रोल सिस्टम से लेकर हेरान तक, अर्चेर ड्रोन और हारोप ड्रोंस से लेकर बराक एंटी मिसाइल डिफेंस सिस्टम तक और स्पाइडर क्विक रिएक्शन एंटी एयर क्राफ्ट सिस्टम से लेकर पाइथन, डर्बी (हवा से हवा में मार करने वाली मिसाइल) जैसी सुरक्षा प्रणालियों ने भारतीय सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को दुरुस्त रखने में एक महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका अदा की है।
