Abstract

Child mortality remains a significant public health challenge in India, with pronounced disparities across states. This research paper compares child mortality trends in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, focusing on key determinants such as socio-economic factors, healthcare infrastructure, and policy implementation. Using the latest available data from national and state-level sources, the study highlights regional disparities, identifies critical areas of intervention, and suggests actionable policy measures to reduce child mortality in these states.
