Abstract

Communalism is a tragedy of our history and present life. Communalism has damaged the social and cultural life of India and has dealt a blow to human civilization. This social problem, which has been going on since the pre-independence era, has taken a fierce and monstrous form after independence and has created an obstacle in the path of India's development. While thinking and writing independently on the problem of communalism, it is absolutely necessary and essential to know the background of this problem. Therefore, under the research paper, the researcher has made a proper effort to clarify the concept of communalism and the communal environment before and after independence.

Abstract in Hindi Language:

सांप्रदायिकता हमारे इतिहास एवं वर्तमान जीवन की त्रासदी हैं। सांप्रदायिकता ने भारत के सामाजिक और सांस्कृतिक जीवन को क्षतिग्रस्त बनाकर मानवीय सभ्यता को धक्का पहुँचाया हैं। स्वतंत्रता के पूर्व काल से चली आई इस सामाजिक समस्या ने आजादी के बाद उग्र और विकराल रूप धारण करके भारत के विकास मार्ग पर अवरोध उत्पन्न किया है। सांप्रदायिकता की समस्या पर स्वतंत्र रूप से विचार एवं लेखन करते समय इस समस्या की पाश्र्वभूमि को जानना नितांत आवश्यक एवं अनिवार्य है। अतः शोध पत्र के अंतर्गत सांप्रदायिकता की संकल्पना एवं स्वतंत्रता पूर्व और स्वातंत्रर्योत्तर सांप्रदायिक परिवेश को स्पष्ट करने का सम्यक प्रयास शोधार्थी द्वारा किया गया है।
