Abstract

Within Gandhiji's views on the state, it would be appropriate to give an outline of the ideal state depicted by Gandhiji, which he called Ramrajya. The use of the word 'Ramrajya' can be somewhat misleading because its literal meaning is 'Ramchandraji's kingdom'. In fact, due to the chaos and long difference of time between the time of King Ramchandra ji and today's situation, 'Ram Rajya' cannot be practical in today's situation. Gandhi was also aware of this. The word ‘Ramrajya’ has been used by him only in a figurative sense and not in the literal sense. In this regard, it is also worth remembering that Gandhi has also described two ideals similar to the plates. First, the perfect ideal, second sub-ideal, there is no place for the state under his perfect ideal social system, but Gandhi was a realist and he has accepted that considering the present state of human nature, it is not possible to establish a perfect ideal.

Abstract in Hindi Language:

गांधीजी के राज्य संबंधी विचारों के अंतर्गत ही गांधीजी द्वारा चित्रित आदर्श राज्य जिसे वे रामराज्य कहते थे की रूपरेखा दे देना उचित होगा। ‘रामराज्य‘ शब्द का प्रयोग कुछ भ्रामक हो सकता है क्योंकि इसका शाब्दिक अर्थ है ‘रामचन्द्रजी का राज्य‘। वस्तुतः राजा रामचन्द्र जी के समय और आज की स्थिति में अव्यवस्था व काल का लंबा भेद होने के कारण ‘रामराज्य‘ आज की स्थिति में व्यवहारिक नहीं हो सकता गांधी भी इस बात से परिचित थे। उनके द्वारा ‘रामराज्य‘ शब्द का प्रयोग भावना बस अलंकारिक अर्थ में किया गया है शाब्दिक अर्थ में नहीं। इस संबंध में यह भी स्मरणीय है की गांधी ने भी प्लेटों के समान दो आदर्शो का वर्णन किया है। प्रथम पूर्ण आदर्श, द्वितीय उपआदर्श, उनकी पूर्ण आदर्श सामाजिक व्यवस्था के अंतर्गत राज्य के लिए कोई स्थान नहीं लेकिन गांधी यर्थाथवादी थे और उन्होंने इस बात को स्वीकार किया है कि मानव स्वभाव की वर्तमान स्थिति को देखते हुए पूर्ण आदर्श की स्थापना संभव नहीं है।
