Abstract

From past to present, transgender people have done some special work. Similarly, literature, society and government have also made their special contribution for their welfare, such as - the Government of India has provided them with human rights by implementing the "Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act 2019." By electing councilors in the local body in Delhi, the common people authorized them to do public work. Similarly, the growth of transgender literature in contemporary Indian literature indicates that the literary world is eager to shed light on the problems and challenges faced by eunuchs and is advocating for inclusion and acceptance by challenging the old social norms.

Abstract in Hindi Language:

भूतकाल से वर्तमान तक किन्नर जनों ने कुछ विशिष्ट कार्य किये है। इसी तरह साहित्य, समाज व शासन ने भी इनके कल्याण के लिए अपना विशेष योगदान दिया है जैसे - भारत सरकार ने ‘‘ट्रासजेण्डर व्यक्ति  (अधिकारों का संरक्षण) अधिनियम 2019 लागु कर इन्हे मानवाधिकारों से सरोबार किया। दिल्ली में स्थानीय निकाय में काउंसलर चुनकर आम लोगों ने उन्हें लोक कार्य करने हेतु अधिकृत किया। इसी प्रकार समकालीन भारतीय साहित्य में ट्रांसजेडर साहित्य की वृद्वि इंगित करती है कि साहित्य जगत किन्नरों के सम्मुख आने वाली समस्याओं, चुनौतियों पर प्रकाश डालने के लिए आतुर है तथा पुराने सामाजिक मानदण्डों को चुनौति देकर समावेशित और स्वीकृति की वकालत कर रहे है।
