Abstract

Efforts were started to make the industrial sector more liberal so that possibilities of more investment could be created. Most of the industries were freed from the licensing system, which increased domestic production and encouraged foreign investment. Due to the acceleration in the process of globalization in the country, the possibilities of India's foreign trade have increased further. Not only has there been an increase in the number of exporting items, but the number of countries exported have also increased. Indian exports continue to grow both in terms of quantity and value. Due to abandoning the policy of protection and adopting the policy of free trade by most of the countries of the world, the flow of capital and investment has increased and international trade has become more accessible. The economic reforms whose foundation was laid in the 80s are being further strengthened. So that the country's partnership in international trade can be increased.

औद्योगिक क्षेत्र को और अधिक उदार बनाने के प्रयास आरम्भ किये गये जिससे अधिक विनियोग की संभावनायें पैदा हो सकें। अधिकतर उद्योगों को लाइसेंस प्रणाली से मुक्त कर दिया गया जिससे घरेलू उत्पादन बढ़े तथा विदेशी विनियोजन को प्रोत्साहन मिले। देश में भूमण्डलीकरण की प्रक्रियाओं में तेजी आने के फलस्वरूप भारत के विदेशी व्यापार की संभावनाओं में और अधिक वृद्धि हुई है। न केवल निर्यातक वस्तुओं की संख्या में वृद्धि है बल्कि निर्यात किये जाने वाले देशों की संख्या भी बढ़ी है। मात्रा और मूल्य दोनों के संदर्भ में भारतीय निर्यात में वृद्धि का क्रम जारी है। संसार के अधिकतर देशों द्वारा संरक्षण की नीति त्यागने तथा मुक्त व्यापार की नीति को अपनाये जाने के कारण पूंजी तथा विनियोग का प्रवाह बढ़ा है और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय व्यापार और अधिक सुगम हो गया है। 80 के दशक में जिन आर्थिक सुधारों की नीवं डाली गई थी उनकों और अधिक सुदृढ़ किया जा रहा है। जिससे अंतर्राष्ट्रीय व्यापार में देश की साझेदारी को बढ़ाया जा सके।
